Cheerleading Squad??  How the hell did I ever get talked into that.  I guess I thought it meant meeting girls.  

It did!!  Since Tech was an ALL BOYS school, we used to "borrow" girl cheerleaders from an ALL GIRLS school to come to our football games.  So we, the boy cheerleaders, DID have to "practice" with the girls cheerleading squad.  

What it amounted to was:  

they jumped around a lot and the boys did tumbling tricks.  I guess I especially liked the "jumping around a lot."
