of Vermont

where my grandfather lives!

Vermont is the 14th state. The name originates from the French term Vert de Mont (which means green mountain.)

When  my grandfather moved to Vermont with his friend he was really happy. Then she got hurt in a motorcycle accident. When she came home she bickered with him. Eventually he had to move out of the house on the mountain and into an apartment in the valley.  A couple of months later we went to Vermont and went skiing. Me and dad were good skiers despite not paying close attention.  It was the best time of my life.  When I went home I started obsessing about Vermont.  Eventually we had to go back. It took 4 hours but it was worth it.

The next day we went out and looked at the river out back. It seemed to be bigger.  Later we went to a theme park called Jackson Gore.  I went on a ride called the timber ripper. I went it at least 20 times.  Then I jumped from 25 feet onto a pillow.  It still hurt.

Then we went to the sugar house and bought some maple syrup.  What a good way to have a good day.

The next day we left. I had a good time.
