So, I'm going to try
something a little bit different this time.....thumbnails.
I'll show you "thumbs" of ALL the pictures....you click
on the ones you want to see full sized. Then just use your

again.

your opinion of this method. Please e-mail me with your

This trip - Us and:
Barbara & Nelson
We went to the Seabee
Museum, in Port Hueneme, where I was stationed in the early sixties.
It had changed a lot, but it was still quite nostalgic for me.
Then came Santa Barbara. There is the
old Mission, quaint stuff, and the Hotel California of the Eagles song.
Then we stopped at San
Simeon, the Hearst Castle. Words (and even pictures) can not
do justice to the opulence and beauty of this place. The general
rule here is: "If it looks like gold...it's GOLD"
Spectacular scenery and wildlife along the way
Then up the coast to beautiful Monterey
where we saw sea otters and the most amazing sand sculpture
The Monterey Aquarium was a highlight
Then it was on to San Francisco
Muir Woods, the home of the giant Redwood
trees
Afterward, a bit of sight-seeing
Finally, it's on to Las Vegas for the relaxing
part of the trip. Here the rule is - "If it looks like
gold...it isn't!!"
